Cardiovascular Peer Review (CPR) is an IRO that assists healthcare providers ensure organizational compliance with conditions and specifications for their Corporate Integrity Agreements (CIA) issued by the Office of the Inspector General (OIG). Reviews are conducted by physician reviewers that are experts in the field of diagnostic and interventional cardiology and electrophysiology.
Through comprehensive assessments, CPR will evaluate and analyze the medical necessity and appropriateness of interventional procedures and monitor the providers’ delivery of care in a standardized, unbiased and blinded fashion.
